What are outfit adoptables?
Outfit adoptables are essentially an incomplete character design you can buy and customize to either fit your existing character or a new character concept you have in mind. The result is a unique character design that fits your needs.Why would I adopt an outfit?
You won't just get ownership of the outfit design and the art, you will also get completed art of your character, which you can use as a nice visual for your OC or DnD character or NPC, profile image, or a reference for commissioning artists in the future.
Here’s how it works:
When I post new outfit adoptables, they go live on my Patreon (click here!) first for all sorcerer tier patrons and up and 24h later for all patrons. When you see an outfit that you like that has not been claimed yet, you send me a message with the number of the outfit and your email address. I will email you a PayPal invoice. Once payment has been received, you are free to send me any descriptions and references of the character (only characters that you own or have permission to use) you want me to draw in the outfit, preferably within 48 hours. When I have all the information I need, it will take me up to 7 days (excluding weekends) to send you the completed art. To be clear, I will draw your character on the existing art, so limited changes are possible. They are listed below.Outfit adoptables rules:- Payment within 24h.
- Processing time is up to 7 workdays.
- Reselling is not allowed.
- Gifting is allowed.
- Both the art and design are only for personal use. Commercial use is not allowed.The following customizations are included in the price:
- Head and hairstyle
- Additions like facepaint, horns, - glasses, jewelry on the head
- Nails/claws
- A tailThe following customizations are possible for an extra fee:
- Any revisions to the above.
- Non-humanoid features (eg. dragonborn, tabaxi).
- Very minor body type changes (eg. broadening shoulders or enlarging chest)
- Addition of tattoos.
- Minor changes to the ouftit (eg. adding an amulet or weapon)
- Minor color changes to the outfit.The following customizations cannot be made:
- Major body type changes (eg. - major masculine to femme, non humanoid body shape)
- Major changes to the outfit.
- The pose cannot be changed.If you want something more specific or a lot of changes, I can do a custom commission for you. Click here for more info on my commissions.To complete the art for you,I will need at least the following info:- If you have it, previous art of the character to copy their likeness. A picture made in Heroforge or Picrew is accepted too.AND/OR:
- The following descriptions:Skin color/style: (eg. light skin with flushed cheeks / brown skin with golden freckles / red skin with scar on cheek)Eyes color / style: (eg. glowing golden eyes / flirty brown eyes / stern ice blue eyes)Adornments / accessories: (eg. horns, ear shape, facial hair, tail, piercings)Please try to include reference pictures / visual examples in your description. You can find a lot of hairstyle pictures on Google and Pinterest for example. You’re also free to leave it up to me to design something fitting if you have only a vague concept for your character. If this is the case please let me know. Revisions are possible but they cost extra.
